Chris Edwards has worked in industrial software and automation for a decade, helping companies to automate their logistics and manufacturing processes. Before founding Sensory Robotic, he worked on advanced manufacturing systems and surgical robotics simulators. He is now focuses on safety, and its ability to improve productivity and expand robotics to new markets.

Mark Gagas, COO
With more than 22 years in technology and automation, Mark leads Sensory Robotics’ operational and commercial execution as COO. A U.S. military
ARMY veteran, he drives strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth for SR-1, the company’s 3D sensing safety solution built to support fenceless, human-robot collaboration in real production environments. Mark is known for bridging engineering, certification, and customer needs, bringing disciplined execution to complex deployments and turning safety requirements into scalable solutions that protect people and keep lines running.

William Hope, CFO
Bill has been working with start-ups and early-stage businesses for 15 years as a CFO, including companies providing innovative software and hardware solutions, novel medical diagnostics, and non-profits. He began his career as an auditor for Ernst &Young and then moved into several accounting, finance, and risk management roles with Wells Fargo Bank. Bill brings a wealth of experience in financial strategy, funding acquisition, and effective communication. He also has an MBA from Chicago Booth.


Dan Junker, Senior Safety Advisor
Dan Junker helps Sensory Robotics comply with CE and UL standards that address 3D Safety Sensing applications.

Dan assists leading edge technology Fortune 500 R&D centers and their suppliers with CE Mark self-certification, risk assessments and standards training.
Dan’s deep automation background and experience are what prompted him to pursue TuV Nord CMSE®, CECE® certifications. Dan also participates on ANSI, UL and A3 Robotics Standards technical panels.
